Successful Poker players must have several skills, including discipline and perseverance. They must be able to stay focused during games and avoid distractions, as well as know how to read their opponents. In addition, they must choose the right limits and game variations for their bankroll, and find and participate in profitable games. They must also develop quick instincts by observing experienced players and thinking about how they would react in certain situations.
